Wireless Network_G5-iMac and PC

Recently acquired a G5-iMac
Already have a P4 Pentium PC
Cannot hardwire due lease restrictions
Never worked on Mac platform and Wireless Networking

I will appreciate any help, advice or recommendation regarding
1] equipment required
2] router Vs Access points
3] anticipated iMac + PC integration problems
4] anticipated setup problems

Assuming you've got ADSL - "Netgear DG834G" router

Router is a more universal all-in-one device

What integration problems - it works right away (use same workgroup name on
both PC and Mac, for convenience)

Just usual router (ADSL login & password) and wireless security configuration
(router and all wireless clients), nice and easy.

First, connect the router by network cable to Ethernet port, get from Netgear
and upgrade the router firmware (for DG834G, it's v1.05.00, you can see what's
your router's firmware version under "Router Status" in web interface)
