Wireless Network - Setup - How? See/share Files, share printers, how?

Tried using MS's wizards to share folders and printers. Either I am not
reading/executing correctly, or their instructions/procedure lack
completeness.

So . . . where do I find links to GOOD papers on this procedure?

Currently have a Linksys Wireless Router (newer model) and wireless stuff in
a newer Dell.

BTW, since I have done a bad job so far, what is the best way to DELETE junk
trials at this process?
