Thanks for your info, AC.
Ya, that's what I thought too. I think I will switch to Linksys since I really need an expander to expand my wireless network...
Thanks a lot!

I bought the Linksys Expander and I cannot get it to work. When I finally got the setup program to recognize the expander it told me that my AP (access point) could not work with the extender in repeater mode. From this Linksys Support Article I found out that if you are not using one of their compatible products, you should check with the manufacturer of your router/AP if they support WDS (Wireless Distribution System). As of right now, I am trying to find out if the MN-700 does; I have not been able to find any info about this.
I read somewhere that Microsoft stopped working on these broadband networking products, it may be time to switch to Linksys. I guess I'll have to look into that as well...
Any extra info anyone has will be appreciated.

Dear all,
I am looking for a wireless network repeater to work with my MN-700 in order to expand my wireless network.
I have checked out several stores but all those salesmen told me that the wireless repeater needs to work with the SAME BRAND wireless router. As what I know, Microsoft doesn't have any wireless network repeater product. *Disappointed*
So does that mean that I have to switch to another brand wireless router so that I can use that particular brand repeater to get my wireless network expanded? Or does anyone try to use any other brand repeater to work with Microsoft base station?
BTW, will Linksys Wireless-G Range Expander WRE54G work with MN700?
Thanks in advance
