I have set up my wireless network today wahey!

Basically I have 2 laptops one with wifi built in, I bought a netgear adsl \
router and that came with a dongle.

What I was wondering the instructions said to use the ethernet cable from
the router to the laptop (the one with no wifi), as I I have a dongle which
has no purpose :-s can I install it on the laptop with no dongle and turn
bother laptops wireless with no need for the thick ethernet cable ? Or does
one of them need to be hard wired to the modem router ?

Hope that makes some kind of sense, if not I can have another go at
explaining

Thanks

The first connection to the router will need to be with an cable, this
will allow you to configure the wireless side of things. Once the
wireless has been set up you can dump the cable altogether.
