wireless network offline when printing

My desktop pc is connected to a MN 500 with a wireless
USB connector. My HP deskjet 710c is connected to this pc
with a cable on LPT1. If I want to print something, the
wireless USB connector goes offline at the moment the
printer starts printing. Sometimes I have to restart that
computer in order to get back on the wireless network.
Has anybody any suggestions on this problem?

Do you have other USB connectors on the PC? Try with
different connectors. The USB port and the parallel port
may be sharing an IRQ or port. Also go to control
panel/system/devices and look for any potential conflicts.
