Alright people, put on your troubleshooting hats. I have a wireless
network that I am trying to fix. It works perfectly except for the
fact that once every minute (roughly) the response times shoots up to
3000ms+. It only happens on wireless - if I plug in a laptop to the
wired ports, it pings perfectly. I have tried different brand
routers, almost every channel, static ip / dhcp, wep / no wep, even
connecting to a neighbor's open router in my apartment building. I am
assumming that is it wireless interference, as there are at least 3
WAPs that I can see depending on where I am in my apt. I have moved
the router around as much as I can, so I don't think it is
multipathing from any nearby metal. I have updated the firmware on my
Netgear MR814v2 and the problems persist. Even with the laptop 5-7ft
away, it receives this minutely spike, although it seems to be
relatively quicker (1500-2000ms).

Normally, this isn't a big deal, but it really affects gameplay. I
don't know how many times I've been shot on BF1942 online when my guy
stops moving because of my momentary connection problem...
