Wireless network doesn't work while PC belongs to a domain

I recently got a new laptop at work. I joined the domain and Office 2003 and
went home that day. When I got home I put a static IP address in for the
wireless card. The status says I'm connected and I can ping machines on the
inside of the router but if I try to hit the net or an outside IP it fails.
Unjoining the domain seems to fix the problem. Any ideas?

It is hard to clearly understand what and why you do what you do.
Wireless has to match the exact settings of the Wireless source.
