A lot of spyware apps go bug-nuts and muck up your network connection when
you change from one network connection to another. Believe me, you won't be
the first; you won't be the last.
Get a copy of AdAware (and the latest updates, and the instructions to
manually install them, since you won't be downloading them on this PC, I
imagine). Install it, update it, run it. Kill everything it finds. Then
restart and run it again. Keep running and restarting until you're clean.
If all you have is Norton Antivirus (not the firewall) I doubt that's your
problem here.
