Wireless music streaming

Is this the right group to ask a question about wireless streaming of
Internet Radio? If so, I'll add my question to this stream. If not, can
anyone suggest a better place?

Don't know the answer but I'd be interested in what you find out.

My application is to use WiFi as a short range audio distribution for an
'open mic' program in a small town. We need to cross a road and down a
block or two in each direction.
