I just wanted to update the folks that helped me to find a wireless
connection in Melbourne.

I found the only two Hudson's Cafes that _weren't_ wireless-enabled,
but, then, the third was . So, here I am .

I'm d/ling my newsgroup posts now. I'll have plenty to read once I'm
offline.

BTW -- has anyone ever used a public hotspot under Linux? I wasn't
able to get my Redhat Linux config to find the network, but, I was
able to get Windows to scan it. I'm just curious for the future, since
I don't like to be dependant on Windows for _anything_ .

Sorry, no. However, someone else in the group found me connections
here in Australia via Google.
