I have the MN 500 802b basestation connected to my
desktop. Our laptop is wirelessly connected both to the
network and to an HP wired/wireless printer (PSC 2510)
that serves both computers.

I don't need to add more computers, but I am interested
in a couple of other wireless devices- a media connector
to play the pictures and music stored on the desktop on
our home theater sound system and TV and a wireless
webcam for security (and fun).

Microsoft doesn't make either of these devices. Is there
any reason I can't add one or both to my existing
network?

and I've also got a DLink 5300W

802.11b is not going to be wonderful for streaming video, but it is
fine for still digital images and for music.
