I have a vaio laptop with a wireless LAN card in it, so it should be
able to register my wireless BELKIN router. The router is connected with
wire to my home windows XP computer (which works fine).

However, it doesn't! When I go to the internet connection on the
laptop, it says there is no avaliable connections and has a red cross on
it. I checked to make sure it wasn't disabled, and it wasn't. I don't
know why it doesn't even register the wireless connection.

The wireless router has for port holes and works sound as it connects
to my xbox wirelessly fine. Very confusing, could someone please advise.
cheers, much appreciated.
