The wireless card is overkill, Patrick. Take it back and get a refund.
Then just let the wireless base station do its job without complicating the
issue. In your projected setup, you'd need to use Internet Connection
Sharing, and the main computer needs to be on at all times for the others to
have a connection. You can have your main computer wired, and the others
wireless - all accessing the Internet independently of each other.
