wireless lan adpter notebook

I am tying get conected, using hot spot , so first i got me wireless
adapter for my notebook with pcmcia conecto, and i stuk it in card slot ,
windowes wizard help meto install it , all of sudden there was
notifiation massage , telling to get my original windoes operating disk
in order to load wireless driver for this wi- fi adapter but i do not have
fun i mean windowes 98 cd where woud igo to find those wireless files . right
now iam not able to get internet wirelessly am iclear .

If you don't have the disk, use Find to locate all *.CAB files. Make sure
you use the asterisk and period as part of the search string. If you find a
folder with a bunch of CABs named WIN98_xx.CAB, where xx is number, those
are your installation files. The usual location is C:\Windows\Options\CABS.
Point the installer to that folder.
