Wireless keeps pausing

I've got an HP/Compaq nc6230 laptop with integrated wireless. For some strnge
reason it keeps pausing. Evey few minutes it just seems to stop, then it
reconnects. I cant seem to find any reason for this.
Any pointers or things I can look at ?
