I've tried all night to set add a new HP laptop to my home network and I ran
the wizard ok but still can connect to the network. I can access the Internet
but can't connect to the other computers. When I run the network diagnostics
I get a failed IP address message. Is there some way of correcting this
problems. Other computers on the network see this computer but cannot connect
to it. I get a message that if can't find the path.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Have you reset the whole network by turning off everything and plugging in
the router first, the modem second and the computers last? Wait a few minutes
between restarting router, modem, computers. Do you have the right passwords
for your secure network? Disable any firewalls until you get it to work. Then
add the network to your firewall's safe list.
