The spread of wi-fi is being hampered by increasing complex and

“Customers embrace new technology when they are confident that what they
buy will work together and they won’t be stranded,” said Tedesco. “The
Wi-Fi CERTIFIED program is instrumental in ensuring that products
interoperate. Because of certification, early customers had a positive
experience with Wi-Fi technology and the momentum continued from there.”

1)
Thank you Rob.
Like using snopes.com for rumours, having attribution and date is
necessary for credibility of any quotes or stories.

As you (and John) may know, tech industries and market conditions
change quickly, and the consumer wireless market is changing and
growing somewhat faster than the general average.

2)
Now, what makes and models of equipment have especially good (or not
good)
(a) interoperability, or
(b) understandable and useful documentation?
3)
What links are especially good for evaluating products with respect to
the above?

NB: This is for such as 802.11a, -b, and -g, and recognizing that
802.11n won't be a real standard for some months yet.
