Hi,
I have a Speedtouch 510 Broadband router and have just bought a house with
my GF.
I want to network the computers together - initially I was going to connect
a wire to the 2nd PC but this is proving to be too difficult as they will be
on different floors.
I am now looking at installing a wireless access point to connect to my
current router.
The model I'm looking at is the Netgear WG602
http://www.netgear.co.uk/wireless_ac...ints_WG602.php
I would then install a wireless card in my gf's PC. The adaptor I'm looking
at is the Netgear WG311
http://www.netgear.com/products/details/WG311.php
However, it states that this requires a Pentium III. Would a Duron class
processor (rated at 700Mhz) be suitable for this adaptor? I've tried to
contact Netgear Support without success.
Is this my best route for going wireless? Ideally I'd like to keep my
current router.
Many thanks,
Daz
PS Apologies if this message appears twice - I cancelled the first one but
it's still available!
