Wireless-G router for diehard gamer use?

I currently have Comcast Pro for Net access and a standard 4-port
Linksys router.

I'm now finally thinking of going Wireless-G and want a solution that
will give me at least 4 non-wireless connections and preferably get me
around a Linksys limitation. I am a diehard gamer. As such I play
several games that each today require at least one port to be opened
to play multiplayer. In one game 4 ports nowhere near one another need
to be opened.

The end result is that Linksys' limit of 10 forwarded ports is killing
me right now. Unless I go DMZ, which I do NOT want to do, I need a
solution to this.

What product or products should I be looking at for a solution?

Doh, forgot the impact of bits versus bytes.

New math. If I did this right 1,700 KBps is 13.28 Mbps so while that's
dramatically better than 1.7 Mbps, it's still nowhere near 54 Mbps.
What gives?

If you are getting 13 Mb/s between two wireless nodes, through a
router running in infrastructure mode, then you should be happy.
