wireless-G lynksys problems (e-mail)

I connected my Lynksys Wireless-G (model WRT54G). The internet connetion is
working fine but it won't recognice a connection to my ISP e-mail and won't
connect to the newsgroups. Anyone else with the same problem?, I followed
techsupport instructions but didn't help. Any ideas?

Make sure you are trying to connect to the full qualified name of the
pop3 and news server. If you previously connected simply to "mail" or
"pop", you may now have to connect to "pop.isp.com"
