Wireless G connection options

Any thoughts on various ways to connect a wireless G adapter? I'm
considering USB, PCI, or ethernet game adapter. I'm leaning towards the
ethernet game adapter route, because in theory it should let me hook up any
device as long as it already has an ethernet port. Is this correct?

Basically, that would let me easily move the wireless G adapter to just
about any device. USB adapters would be limited to only devices with USB
ports, and likewise PCI adapters would be limited to working only in
machines with a PCI slot. I was thinking the wireless game adapters would
be much more universal and easy to move from machine to machine.

Yes, but they're more expensive.

Yep, that's OK though, I'm either going to pay more for more adapter types,
or pay more for fewer adapters that will fit more machines. I just didn't
want to find out after buying one that it wouldn't work for some reason I
hadn't thought if.
