If you are using Windows XP, you dont need the BNU software. You can
configure EVERYTHING through the Base Station Management Tool at
http://192.168.2.1

If you insist on using the BNU software, you can download the update from
here
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/br...DLoadMain.mspx

Sounds good to me Jason - however, I receive "The page
cannot be displayed" when I try that url. Is it the
correct one ??? Maybe there's another way to get
there ???
Thanks for replying

Oh, you are trying to access the BSMT. I thought you were talking about the
MSBBN updates.

Make sure that all your proxies are off

In Internet Explorer
Options, Tools
Connections Tab
Lan Settings
Uncheck everything in there.

Use a different computer, go to microsoft web site
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/br...tworking/05_by
ProductType.aspx?type=USBAdapter Then find the updated
software, download the file and then transfer it to your
problem compute.

I notice many issues with establishing internet connection
with wireless adapters, after people install service pack
2. Yet they can browse their networks. I have been working
on this problem for a few days, without resolove.
In my instance, after selecting "run", typing "cmd", then
typing "ipconfig", I notice the wrong IP address. Somehow
windows keeps coming up with an IP address starting with
169......etc., instead 192.168.2.xxx needed to connect
with the internet.
