Hi,

I'm having a problem with my wireless connection. I have a Linksys Wireless
Access Point Router BEFW11S4 and I have 2 laptops (wireless) and 1 desktop
(wired) connected to it. One laptop (Win XP pro) connects fine and the
desktop connect fine also. However the other laptop (Win XP Home) connects
but drops its connection after 3 - 4 minutes. It then detect the wireless
connection again and you physically have to click connect to connect back.
It's highly annoying when you're downloading because it cuts out in the
middle. This has only started since I have enabled the WEP on the access
point. Has anyone else had this problem and sorted it out?

TIA

regards,

Sil

Go to Advanced Settings for the card and disable IEEE 802.1x authentication.

In the advanced properties of your wireless card. You can find this card
in your networkconnection in the start menu. Good Luck!
