If you have two different manufactures of wireless card and router would
this be a problem trying to configure WEP? Unbeknown to me our office just
bought a Linksys WRT54G router and Dell pc with a DELL WIRELESS TRUEMOBILE
1180 USB ADAPTER. I was able to getting it working without WEP however once
I enabled WEP the two devices stopped communicating. Personally I would
have preferred to have both wireless devices from the same vendor. will WEP
work when you have two different vendors devices?

TIA,

Joe

wep worked fine for me with the wrt54g and the dell centrino offering which
uses the intel wireless minipci card.

wpa didn't work until i downloaded the firmware which they just released
today (or last night).

try the new firmware.
