It's not that Telewest don't support wireless, they don't support any LAN
attached to their cable modem - you can use a LAN but they just don't give
support.
Why don't you have a look at the forums at
www.cm-forums.co.uk - this sort
of problem has been covered many time, if you don't find an answer then
post your question there and someone will be able to help.

BTW, Telewest is a Broadband Cable provider not ADSL - they are different
technologies.
