Any suggestions welcome:

My wireless connection from my laptop (Dell Inspiron
8500) repeated drops every couple minutes. Problem
occurred under SP1 and still under SP2, but only while
connecting to MN-500. No problems connecting at client
who uses different hardware. Have tried the following:

o validated "Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication" is OFF
o am using WEP but "key is provided" is OFF
o base firmware is up to date (0.1.11.17)
o have reset the base station to default settings
(multiple times)
o no problems installing SP2
o wired connection to base from separate workstation
works fine - fast and doesn't drop
o I only use Windows to configure my wireless network
settings

Thanks in advance for any help . . .

I see its been a while since you posted this, but since I have a same, or
similar, problem I want to add my 2 cents as to what I have to do to fix it
and the ask for assistance as well.
I connect just fine, but to stay connected I have to uncheck the box that
tells the system to "Use Windows to configure my wireless nettework
settings." in the Wireless Network window. Once I uncheck this box I stay
connected as long as my computer is running. Then, of course, I have to
remember to check this box before I shut down or I won't automatically
connect the next time I start up.
I hope this helps a bit, but if anybody can tell me how I can avoid having
to uncheck/check the box all the time I would really appreciate it.
