Hi

Is it possible to connect a laptop with a wireless PCMCIA card to another
Desktop Pc using a wireless access point and then share the dial up internet
connection using Internet Connection Sharing. Both laptop and PC are both
running XP Home.

TIA

Mike

You would be better off putting a wireless adaptor in the PC (instead of
getting a wireless access point), and use the PC and the Laptop in Ad Hoc
Mode.

Trying to share a dialup connection would be so slow - it hardly seems worth
the effort.

I appreciate that it will be slow but they live in the back of beyond so
Broad Band is not an option

The desktop will be doing most of the surfing and the laptop will log on
from time to time for email only so it should be o.k

Thanks for the advice

Mike
