WIRELESS CONNECTION DROPS IN WNDOWS ME

Have a laptop running Windows ME and Microsoft wireless
networking (uses an Microsoft wireless adapter). Drops
the connection every 3-4 minutes, then takes 2-3 minutes
to reconnect. Keeps doing this. What's going on?
