Wireless Connection Dies

Dear Group,

after switching to Standby my computer goes offline which is ok, I guess.
But if I start working again my wireless connection dies every 3 minutes.
All of a sudden it says: "Wireless Internet Connection Not Available"
Then, after 3 seconds it detects the router again and asks me to connect.

That's not normal, is it?

It is normal to lose connection during standby or hiberbation --
obviously, your computer can't communicate while inactive.

It is not normal to lose connection every three minutes. If you
disable/re-enable the connection, does the problem go away?

Does it go away if you re-boot?
