Hi, I have a dual boot Toshiba Portege 4010 with which I'm trying to
make the internal wireless card work with a Linksys WRT54G. Under
Windows XP, it works but I'm unsuccesfull under linux. The Linux
is Redhat 9.0, kernel 2.4.20-9 and I'm using the orinoco_cs module.
The Linksys, has firmware 1.30.7 and is in Mixed Mode, WEP 128, and
MAC addresss filtering activated. The best I can figure out it that
the Portege isn't getting the MAC address of the WRT54G, iwconfig
keeps reterning as access point 44:44:44:44:44:44.
I was able to connect to a neibourgh wireless base under linux, but
I can't connect to the one here. Any toughts on why the Portege won't
talk to the WRT54G.
