Wireless Card WLAN troubles

Hello you all.

I'm having troubles since I've updated the wireless card of my Dell Inspiron
9200.
I found the update in the official Dell site, dated Jan 16, 2006.
I cannot connect automatically to the same wireless router: I always have to
run the "repair" function.
I tried having windows managing the connection and the problem is the same:
is it better to have windows or the Dell utility to manage the connection?
Anyway, the troubles are in both conditions.
I'm wondering if I have to change some settings now, because I tried to go
back to the original drive and the problem is still there.
Before I d/l the update, I've never had a problem connecting even when
changing location and at public hotspots.
Now I have to manually connect and it always fails till I repair the
connection.
Any ideas?
