It depends on what you mean by a "wireless card." If you mean a device
commonly called a PC Card or PCMCIA card, which slips in a slot on the
side of the laptop, the answer is yes.
Is this what you bought:
http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=136500
(ignore the text describing the Belkin F5D7010; it's describing a
different product)
However, before you open the package, you might want to determine if
there is an updated driver for your "old card" that will enable it to
support WPA.
What is the make and model of the old card? Have you looked at the card
manufacturer's site for an updated driver?
If your laptop had built-in wireless, I assume that you are not talking
about replacing its internal card. Again, you could look on the Lenovo
site for an updated driver for an internal wireless card. Look on the
bottom of your laptop, and on the label above the bar code will be the
word "Type" followed by a 4-digit number and 3 place alphanumeric suffix
(e.g., 2659-BA6). Go to the page linked below, put in the information
about your laptop, and see if there is a driver for the wireless adapter.
