Wireless card not being detected in laptop

I have a latitude D610 and a verizon wireless network card. The card
used to work fine before sending it in to get reimaged. Now when I
install the verizon wireless software it gets to the part where it
prompts you to enter the wireless card, when I do that, nothing
happens, it stays on that screen. If I reboot and enter in the card,
it does not recognize the new hardware. Is there anyway I can test to
make sure the pci slot is active and working properly? Thanks.

Try the card in a different computer.
