wireless card fit Compaq Presario 1200?

I wnat to make my old Compaq Presario 1200 laptop able to dow ireless
but the adaptors look wider than the slot on the side. Will one fit
that computer or is it too outdated?

According to what I read, it has standard PCMCIA slots. Easy to find
wireless cards for that.
