I've got a Belkin F5D6020 PCMCIA card running in my WinXP craptop
and it works great. Problem is when I shut the cover to enter
standby mode and the open the cover the card can't rediscover/reconnect
to the wireless network. Is this an expected problem or an issue
with the card I am using? If I pup the card out/in or reboot the
craptop it reconnects fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks. T

Check the laptop manufacturer's web site for updated BIOS.

I have a friend with that exact same problem. He hasn't discovered a
fix yet, but if anyone has one I'd like to hear it, too.

Yep, I've got the same problem on my Dell CPiA400XT with a wired
network. When it enters standby it undocks, then goes to standby. The
lan is in the docking station. Never comes back without a complete reboot.
I just turn off the display and disks and let the rest of it cook.
Solution would be nice.
