Hi there, can anyone recommend a site to learn about the different
card technologies (prism etc) and a definitive list of the cards that
implement them.

Any help GREATLY appreciated. I'm searching but not doing too well.

Mitchua, this is superb, thanks a lot. I was about to spend $50 on a
card that would not have worked (the earlier versions would have, the
version at my local store has a new chipset).

I owe you one!
