Hi Folks,
My router is wireless equiped and as such i want to get a wireless
bridge so i can connect a PS2 to the net via wireless.
It would seem that the best way to do this is using a wireless bridge to
connect to the PS2 such as the Netgear ME101.
My question is this though - does the wireless bridge require an ip
address, or does it simply use the ip address assigned to the PS2
network adaptor ?
If it does need a seperate address then i would imagine the routing
becomes very awkward as you are going to have two devices (wireless
router and PS2) on the same subnet seperated by another device (wireless
bridge).
Reason im asking is that im using a small public ip range and have no
spare ip's so if i need to give the bridge its own ip as well as having
one allocated to the PS2 im gonna be stuck !
Any advice appreciated from someone who has setup something like this
before.
Regards,
Andy.
