wireless base station set up

Hi,
I want to set up my base station wirelessly. From the
informaton that I have read this is not as secured as a
wired connection. Is there any way to make the wireless
set up more secure?

Depending on your base station (this newsgroup supports Microsoft's
Broadband Networking hardware and software only) you can probably use either
WEP or WPA encryption. Without knowing what base station you have, it is
hard to give advice.

You may want to visit the Microsoft Broadband Networking homepage. There's a
lots of information that you can gather that may help you with you network.

There should be an option to configure the base station for WEP/WPA.
Depending on the model you have and what your network equipment can support.
