When reading newsgroups I get conflicting information on whether or not a
MN-500 supports port forwarding for PPTP.

I want to put a RRAS server behind a MN-500 and allow VPN connections via
PPTP. I'll buy another device if someone can categorically tell me that this
will not work - i.e. I do not want to spend hours messing with it if it is
just not going to work!! There are plenty of people posting messages on how
to do this with equal number of people saying that this specific MS device
just do not support GRE.

Anyone have the definitive answer?

Thank you

I have the answer! You just need to open port 1723 TCP. The device then
autoatically knows about GRE 47! - i.e. that's it! I just tried this and it
works like a champ.
