I'm trying to run a Telnet BBS through this router (MN-
700) And I've been unable to get the telnet signal
through the router, even using Port Forwarding. Any
ideas? Their's no firewall turned on in WinXP, or the
DSL modem.

Were you using application triggered or persistent. Application
triggered is for if you send something out on one port & receive a
response on a different port (Examples FTP client & SMTP e-mail both of
which the router has support built right in for). Persistent is for
when you receive incoming packets but you didn't start that particular
set of packets (file sharing & acting as a server on the Internet).

I was using persistant.... Still couldn't get through
for some reason... Very disapointing since I bought this
assuming it would be easier since it's a MS....
