Hi,

I am a newbie to this wireless world.

May I know is it possible to setup a wireless AP device in a LAN
environment which is using a proxy server and enabling the notebook to
surf thru the wireless AP and proxy?

Please enlighten.

Rgds.

Eric

Wireless is essentially just an alternative physical connection. A
properly designed and configured AP should function like an Ethernet
switch and be transparent to proxy servers.

By analogy to postal mail, as long as properly addressed packets show up
in its mailbox, the proxy doesn't care whether they got there by truck,
airplane, or unicycle.
