Have two wireless PCs and one wireless router (all Netgear). The two PCs can
see the router but I cannot connect using Remote Desktop. If fails not being
able to find the host computer. Any ideas?

Under "System Properties" for each system, go to the "Remote" tab. Ensure
that you have selected "Allow user to connect remotely to this computer".

Is your firewall turned off?

Is the AP in isolation mode? Some APs have a security feature that allows
you to block access between wireless clients.

Cheers,

"Allow user to connect remotely to this computer" is on.

If you're running a firewall, including Windows Firewall, make sure it's
configured to allow traffic for Remote Desktop. Allow traffic on port 3389
if possible. Also, check if you can connect via IP as opposed to using the
computer name.

Here's a page that may help you as well:

The firewall as an exception for "Remote Desktop". I used the computer name
and I have not tried IP yet-will try it. Thanks.
