Hello Newsgroup,

I'm searching for an DSL Router which is as well
accessable via WLAN and LAN (100/10 MBIT).

There is a lot of hardware out there with these features but
I search a hardware where you can turn on/off the wireless
feature.

Explenation:

I would need such a hardware to connect to PCs (one normal one
and one LAptop with wireless LAN) to my DSL Internet.
The Laptop (which would only use the wireless function is
going online only very rarely so I would like to turn of the
wireless function to give no acces to others and not
to pollute my house and family with possible dangerous radiation
when there is absolutet no sense for it due to the fact that most
time I don't even use the wireless feature. Otherwise I would
realy need to use it but this just sometimes and only for short!

Thank you for your help
Please suggest me hardware you like and which you think
can work the way I would need it!!

Tahnk you

I'm using two devices. A router/switch and a wireless accesspoint.
Unplug the power of the accesspoint if you do not which to use it.

Linksys BEFSR81
