Wireless ADSL router & Gaming Ping times

Hey all,

Quick question, with a wireless ADSL router and wireless PCI card what kind
of a hit will I take for interenet gaming ping times over ADSL? I'm
guessing adding the wireless sending & recieving process adds some lag to
the connection, anyone know how bad? Does the standard of wireless link make
a difference?
