I have followed an easy to understand walk through on how to set up an adhoc
network from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/e.../02april08.asp
(Main pc with pci adaptor and wireless card Intel 2011 and Laptop PCMCIA
Intel 2011B and it worked first time!! Great so I saved all the settings
just in case it stopped working and everything was sweet.
http://rasta.cakeface.com/wireless.html I even tried powering down the
laptop a few times and re-connected without error. I switched off the main
(host) PC and I cannot conect anymore. My Main PC IP has not changed and
that still surfs fine.
I have tried removing the card (PC) re-installing it and gone through the
same procedure several times but where it is failing is that on the main pc
I am getting the red X on the wireless connection icon in the task bar
saying "Wireless Conection Unavailable" no matter what I do, any ideas
guys?
OS/ XP pro on both
Host PC: Intel 2011 in PCI Adaptor
Laptop: Intel 2011B
