I have been using my LinkSys adaptor and wireless router for quite some
time, but now, at randon, it goes unavailable, usually with a Code 43 for
Status. I have taken the computer and adaptor to Best Buy (where I bought it)
and they say, after a quick check, that nothing is wrong with the adaptor. In
an Online Chat with LinkSys, they conclude that I should Re-load Windows XP
saying that my OS must be somehow failed.
That doesn't seem correct to me and I don't want to reload just for fun. I
can often get the connection back by going to Control Panel, Disable the
device and then Enable it again. If that doesn't work, I can reload the
driver for the adaptor and get it going again.
Has anyone some ideas about what is going on?
