Wireless adapter will not work on desktop

The wireless adapter the usb 2.0 one that was previously
working will not work now. It was working fine then shut
down and moved desktop. the usb hub is not a 2.0 but
according to microsoft website that's fine. According to
manual not fine. Puzzled because it was working fine
yesterday. Please help if any suggestions or direction to
point me in.

Have you tried unplugging the device and then replugging it back in?
