Wireless adapter MN-510 conection with Linksys router

when i install the microsoft wireless adapter, it locates
the linksys router but does not correctly capture the IP
address. other computers on the network work fine. My
adapter works fine right after I re-install my c drive but
other then that, i cannot get it to connect.

any suggestions?

Try assigning a static IP to the wireless adapter (use
mask 255.255.255.0, and the IP of the router as gateway).
