According to the Network Connection Windows, the wireless adapter is
malfunctioning. Yet, When I start the computer, I was using Windows wireless
zero configuration until it stopped working. When I try to re enable the
adapter in network connections, the status says Unavailable Device
Malfunctioning. When I try to re enable from the device manager, I get a
yellow exclamation point. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver with
no success. Then I installed the INTEL ProSet Wireless utility. When the
computer restarts and the adapter is on. Intel's utility works.

The model of my network adapter is Intel(R) Pro/Wireless 3945ABG. The driver
version is 11.1.1.11.

Hi
Some Wireless drivers are connected together with their Wireless utility and
both need to be installed in order to work properly.
When it works do not uninstall the Intel Utility, try to prevent it from
Uploading at startup.
This utility might help to manipulate the StartUp,

So what is the problem now? After you installed PROSet, the 3945 works?
