Hi

I've got two PCs downstairs on a wired network using a asdl wireless router
with 4 port switch and a PC upstaires on a wireless link to the router
downstairs. If I turn on the PC upstairs and try and access the 2 PCs
downstairs they do not appear in network neigborhood. However if I Access
the Upstairs PC from one of the two PCs downstairs then the Icons appear on
the upstairs PC. Why should I not be able to access the downstairs PCs
first from the upsairs one without have to access the upstairs one first
from the downstairs?
Running XP and w2000 signal is excellent

Anuy ideas

Rgds

Hugh

Insert Presidents middle initial instead of his nickname
Hint his middle name begins with a 'w'

Don't place too much confidence in the fact it says it is a good
signal. I've had a good signal reading and ended up losing 40% of
pings.

Network often takes ages to show up fully, don't actually know why but
instead try 'find computer' and then if it finds it then use the
explore function.

I often use this method if network neighborhood doesn't show up.
